And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in^[^a^] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. We are all called to serve in some way. You often hear people say it is our responsibility as followers of Christ to give our time, treasure and talent. We don’t always know what our talents are and how they can be utilized to serve our community. Take time to pray about it and read through the many ministries we have here at St. Thomas and most importantly….LISTEN to where God is calling you. You maybe surprised and find yourself in uncharted territory, lead there by the Holy Spirit.

Religious Education

We aim at maturing in relation to our spiritual, moral, and religious lives, through education, encounter with, and celebration of our Catholic faith. Consider to be a part of this by being a volunteer catechist and journey together with us as we grow in faith and love of God.

Parish Leadership

As beloved sons and daughters of God, empowered by the Spirit, we are to respond to our baptismal vocation to minister to one another. We who received much from the Lord should embrace the gift of leadership and the opportunity to serve the church.

Worship

We are bestowed abundantly with personal gifts that are meant to be shared. Prayerfully discern this gift and respond to the call to serve and share your gift in one of our Worship Ministries.

Social Concerns / Community Outreach

Promoting social justice is part of our duty as a Christian. Active concern in improving the lives of others, esp. the poor and vulnerable, is an indispensable ministry of the church. Be a part of this ministry and fulfill your duty of telling the world about God’s love and concern.

Religious Education

We are happy you choose to bring your family closer to God. We are here every step of the way as you embark on this blessed journey. Our Church has different religious education programs available for your family:

Faith Formation – Our formation is divided into two groups: Children up to 8th grade and High School
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) – This is a faith journey for over the age of 18 and has not been baptized or baptized under a different faith.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults – Adapted for Children (RCIA-AC) – This is a faith journey for children 7 to 17 years old who have not been baptized or baptized under a different faith.
Spanish Faith Formation
Bible Study – For those who want to learn more about the Scriptures and reflections. Due to COVID-19, this group is suspending activities until further notice. Please check back for updates.
