News/Media

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

A Message from our Parochial Administrator

May blessings continue to be bestowed upon you. As you may have heard, we are working to revitalize our church, and we are doing it for you. King Solomon used the finest materials to construct the temple, wanting to make it a worthy place to worship God. We are following in his footsteps here at St. Thomas the Apostle by making our church a beautiful place of worship. This revitalization is being done in phases, and during this phase, we will be painting the church. In addition, two projectors in the sanctuary will display prayers, readings, and hymns. We are also replacing the track lighting in the sanctuary with new, more suitable lighting. Furthermore, the Stations of the Cross are being refurbished, and you have the opportunity to bid on them. Winning bidders will have their names placed on a plaque next to the stained glass windows. The proceeds from the bidding will be used to fund the revitalization of the parish. We are also replacing the door handles on the four side doors, and we are confident that many of you will be pleased with the results. However, these changes require funds, and things have become quite expensive. That is why the parish will be holding various fundraisers, and we sincerely hope that you can participate in them. I understand that I may talk about money and the need for it frequently, but please remember that these efforts are for you and not for me. We strive to create a place that is worthy of the worship of our God. We humbly ask that you contribute as you are able to this endeavor.

God Bless,

Fr. Ted

Padre Ted
